Here is a link for your convenience: JCreator Setup

Class Summaries for 8/25
For both classes:
Today I introduced the courses, talked a little about how I will run things with both classes in the same room, and demonstrated a few simple Java programs. We also took a few minutes to make sure everyone understood how to complile and run a java program.
For homework - make sure you check the schedule posted for your respective course and do assignment #1 on the schedule. The links are in the sidebar to the right.
*EDIT* Here are the links I was referring to from class:
Install this first, the Java SDK: Java SE Development Kit 6 Update 16
Then, install the JCreator IDE: JCreator Download Links - DOWNLOAD THE LE VERSION
I'll post a more detailed "how-to" for setting this up later when I'm at my home PC.

Welcome to Computer Science
This is going to be the place I post the materials you need for the course. Because I am teaching two levels in the same room, it's going to be up to you to make sure you are getting the correct materials for your level...this won't be a huge deal this week, but it will be an issue later, so please pay attention!
